I have an associates degree in Engineering Technology and majored in computer aided drafting and design. I know that I would be an asset to any company. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and lost my job due to not being able to work. Once I finished my treatments, I moved back home to Washington State. I am perfectly healthy now and want to go back to work, however, the job market isn't looking very promising. Plus people tend to hire someone who is already working as opposed to someone who hasn't worked since 2008. I would appreciate a foot in the door and am willing to start at the bottom if I need to. I just want to go back to work. I have several years drafting experience with proficiency in Autocad 2002-2009. I am an exceptional learner with a 3.93 GPA and what I do not already know, I can learn quickly and I am eager to learn. Would appreciate the opportunity to prove myself and my capabilities.

When writing your Cover Letter, It amy be helpful to put a smidge about why you want the job that you are applying to. I did and I got an interview. All of the other applications that I have E-mailed that I did not put a blerb about why I want the job I ave not gotten any type of response...
